With ever increasing
landfill costs and changes to legislation,
it is becoming more economical to shred and recycle wood waste.
We have two shredders for hire with a throughput
in the region of 200-600 cubic meters per hour, depending
on the material and levels of contaminates. Any contaminates
will slow the operation. |

Our
Mabe is technologically advanced to cope with all wood waste
and green waste materials. The wood waste can be pallets to
residules from wood processing industries.
The machine takes up to 24" timber, therefore there is
no need to sort large woody material, before shredding. The
material, although being coarse and inconsistant, is ideal
for composting, however fine shredding grates can be fitted
to give a variety of end product sizes.
One of the shredders is equiped with a |

| conveyer belt,
watering system and dust suppression. If the machine is operated
on a tarmac or concrete base, the auto walk facility can be used,
reducing the need to move the machine along manually. The added
conveyer provides a higher windrow therefore resulting in fewer
machine movements and added safety. For any wood over 24" in
diameter, we can also hire a root splitting machine, which enables
the material to be reduced to a size ideal for shredding. |
